Christmas at My House: A Photo Essay

The view from within, looking out on the first real snow of the year.
This candle holder wreath has appeared on the table every year at Christmas time since before I was born, probably.

The cat sleeping. Not unique to Christmas, I suppose.

The tree with lights, ornaments, and presents

My dad buys mixed nuts to munch on throughout the month of December every year.

The stockings, soon to be hung and filled with loot.

Our ornaments are special. One for every person, for every year. They signify something big that happened, or something big we did, or some way that God took care of us that year.

This old nativity set has also been around a long time.
